we are in 2022 - still wearing masks in shopping areas which I totally hate!  We lost our father in law before Christmas but were very lucky that we could go ahead with our planned service and wake.  Between Christmas and New Year was a wonderful time to celebrate the life of a man that lived to 90!

The first week in January I got the most shocking head cold! It totally floored me - probably because I've not been poorly in three years! My eldest had it before me and declared it "worse than Covid"!

Double Jabbed I have to agree but where will this year take us?

I'm about to turn 51!!!!! I celebrated my 50th in total lockdown last year - cooking my own three course meal for my dearest and nearest!  This year I hope will be better but I do feel cheated - perhaps I'll stay 50 for another year! Why the hell not - if Boris can have cheese and wine then I can dodge a year!

I'm trying to regain my Sass! Do some sewing to embrace my inner Vivvienne Westwood with tartan pants and ignore dry January! In fact I normally break any possible new year resolutions on New Years Day on purpose with a boozy 2nd Xmas dinner

Now I have the most amazing week planned!

My joungest is 18 tomorrow! Then on Monday we are doing the timewalk at the Rocky Horror Picture Show, Wednesday I'm 51!! Or maybe 50 take two! Double meals out - lunch and tea ( I'm northern so any southerners would say supper or dinner) But Thursday I'm doing the timewalp as my eldest has booked me in for botox followed by a night in Manchester - Frog and Bucket comedy club!  I will laugh those wrinkles away!!!

So perhaps 2022 will be my year!  I'll reopen my etsy shop on the 1st February and rock a shit load of crafts - maybe this will be my year! Everything crossed - life has got to get back to normal soon ....right?
